The throat and chest thing which has been hovering for 2 weeks decided to decamp the minute mother went home... just in time for my only holiday down time alone at home...
Bugger, bugger, bugger... alone and miserable with snot and coughing up a lung once an hour.
I need to leave the house to purchase tissues... (the bog roll will no longer cut it... I need aloe and I need it now) I also need to post a long overdue ebay sale to its new owner, yay, holiday cash.
On the plus side however, due to illness I can justify perfectly staying in bed thereafter with my new 6 books for $39.00.
Apparently illness has its compensations.
