Where are Your Neighbours Right Now?

Gaahh, that's dreadful. How very sad.

That's a bit spooky you know because I'm currently going through a bit of a Mysterious Disappearance of Neighbours right now! I may have to blog about it!

I agree with the above statments and understand the need to look after our neighbours fully. I myself am 27 years old and I live in an apartment/unit complex with 15 elderly residents. One of which tried to kill himself in January and had it had not been for me he would have been found dead because no one else here sensed a problem. Thanks to my intervention he was saved and even though he tried to kill himself he thanked me for saving him.

On the other hand I also have an 85 year old neighbour next door to me who isn't well and I cop abuse from her every time whenever I pop by to say hello and see how she is.

That hurts to be abused for caring. I've called an ambulance for her on many occasions and each time she comes home from hospital she abuses me saying that I had no right and I should have just let her die.

It's cool to look out for our neighbours, more people should but sadly because of the reactions from the people in need of care or assistance most people don't bother.

Sad but true.
